UES Hardware – Shipping Terms & Conditions

These terms outline UES Hardware's shipping policy for Australian orders and apply to all online and offline purchases. By placing an order with UES Hardware, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Business Customers (Trade & COD Account Holders)
All orders placed by business customers with an active UES Hardware Trade or Cash on Delivery (COD) account are eligible for our Flat Rate Freight Guarantee. This offers a fixed shipping cost of $30.00 + GST per order, regardless of size, weight, volume, or delivery location within Australia . This offer also applies to both online orders completed at www.ues-hardware.com , in branch, via email or over the phone. Orders placed outside of an approved account will default to individual customer shipping rates.
All current Free Into Store (FIS) arrangements remain unchanged.
This offer is not currently available to customers located in New Zealand.
2. Guest & Registered Individual Customers
For Australian guest and registered Individual account holders, any online order completed at www.ues-hardware.com with a total value of $220.00 or more (inc. GST) qualifies for free standard shipping within Australia. Orders below this threshold incur a flat fee of $33.00 (inc. GST).
The free shipping offer does not apply to orders placed via phone, email, over the counter in branches, or via EDI. This offer is not available to customers located in New Zealand.
3. General Shipping Conditions
All shipping fees listed apply to standard ground (road) freight services only. Deliveries are available to metropolitan, regional, and most remote areas within Australia and New Zealand. However, in some cases, remote, offshore, or difficult-to-access postcodes may attract additional freight surcharges. If applicable, these will be quoted and customer approval will be obtained before dispatch.
Additional charges may also apply where deliveries require non-standard handling or logistics, such as crane, tail lift, hand unloads, or when orders are over-dimensional or time-sensitive. If express delivery is requested or necessary, this will be handled separately and quoted accordingly.
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2 business days after payment is confirmed or trade account approval is verified. Shipping confirmations and tracking details are emailed to customers at the time of dispatch for all online orders. All shipments are fulfilled via UES Hardware’s nominated freight carriers, unless business customers choose to use their own nominated freight carriers. In such cases, the preferred carrier and account details must be provided prior to online checkout or during the order process to ensure timely dispatch.
Delivery times vary depending on the shipping location and carrier network. Standard delivery timeframes are typically 2–7 business days across Australia and 3–10 business days for New Zealand, although these may be extended during peak periods or for remote destinations.
4. Returns & Refunds on Shipping Fees
All shipping fees are non-refundable once goods have been shipped, unless the item was damaged in transit and the damage claim is approved, or if the wrong item was supplied due to an error on UES Hardware’s part. For full details, customers are advised to consult the UES Hardware Returns Policy.
5. Policy Amendments
UES Hardware reserves the right to amend this shipping policy at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be posted to the website, and revised terms will apply to all new orders placed following the effective update date.
